| Rose City Kings is giving a big thanks to its fans by holding its first-ever Fan Appreciation Party at Macadam’s Bar & Grill, 5833 SW Macadam at 9 pm on September 7th. This free event is open to the general public, who are 21 years and over. For preferred seating, call Macadam's at (503) 246-6227 for reservations. This party is RCK's way of thanking everyone for all the wonderful support over the last 5 years by offering a free night of entertainment and some valuable prizes for RCK Honorary Members. While Rose City Kings celebrates the past, it is looking forward to the future. At the party, Rose City Kings is expected to formally announce that it will transition next year to a new name: Kolvane. Band leader, Kolvane, said, "The new band name is simply in recognition that we have evolved as a band and have much more room to grow. The fundamentals of the band remain the same: We will provide our best and highest energy performance each and every time. " For the Party, RCK Honorary Members who present their ID card are eligible to win wonderful prizes. The grand prize V.I.P. Package includes a night’s hotel stay and 2 guest passes for their choice between either the November 2nd appearance at Biscuits & Blues in San Francisco or the December 8th performance at Highway 99 Blues Club in Seattle. Other prizes include an autographed guitar; a $100 gift certificate for Unique Bed & Breakfast Inns; gift certificates to Rogue Brewery; and a free dinner at Macadam’s and much more. It’s not too late to become an Honorary Member for the prize drawing through either the newly launched www.Kolvane.com website or www.RoseCityKings website. You may also submit your information at the event to receive an ID card. To be eligible for the drawing, Honorary Members must present their Honorary Member card and be present at the time their drawing number is called. For the grand prize VIP Package, the Honorary Member may choose between the band's next performances at Highway 99 or Biscuits & Blues. Highway 99 is Seattle's premier Blues club with the fun ambience of a classic southern juke joint. The winning Honorary Member would stay one night at the Sixth Avenue Inn, for the December 8, 2007 performance. For the November 2, 2007 show in San Francisco, the Honorary Member would stay at the King George hotel in the heart of Union Square just a block from Biscuits & Blues, America's #1 Blues Club. While one night's lodging and venue passes are provided, meals and incidentals are not included in the grand prize VIP package. Substitute ticket dates or lodging are not permitted, except in the unlikely event of a cancellation of the performance.
