February 23, 2004

Feb 21st, 2004 - Trails End Saloon

The Trails End Saloon was the place to be on Saturday night February 21st, to Celebrate Mardi Gras. The Event dubbed, "Beads and Blues" featured the Muddy Award winning Best Blues Venue, Trails End Saloon with the Muddy Award winning Best New Act, the Rose City Kings.

A capacity crowd of revelers danced the night away to the Kings unique brand of energetic blues. With the enthusiastic crowd urging them on RCK ripped through set after set of tunes that just made you want to get up and shake a leg. "The energy was unbelievable", said "Kingbee" (Dan Berkery), singer and guitarist for RCK..."The people were giving it to us and were giving it back...what a rush!"

Mardi Gras is one of Rose City King's favorite events of the year and each year it is increasing in popularity. This was certainly an event to remember and definitley an event to look forward to next year.
