RCK HEADLINES BLUES AT THE BITE.

Join us at this weekend’s 2005 BITE OF OREGON Celebrating Oregon’s Best Food, Beverage & Music FRIDAY AUGUST 12 at the PGE FOUNTAIN STAGE, just North of the Salmon Street Fountain.
Rose City Kings are an “Oregon Best.” We will head line a great line-up of blues starting @ 10:00 pm. Following its performance, Rose City Kings will sign its CDs at the Music Millenium booth. Rose City Kings has launched 3 Cds in 3 years: Holler Out for More (2005); UP ON IT (2004); and Delta Hop (2003). These CDs will be available through Music Millenium.
KGON presents “BLUES AT THE BITE” with the
Cascade Blues Association as your Bite Ambassador.
The schedule for Blues at the Bite is as follows:
6:00 – 7:00 2005 WC Handy Award Nominee JANIVA MAGNESS, a No Nonsense Blues Powerhouse.
7:30 – 8:15 DAVID VEST & the Willing Victims
Boogie Woogie Blues w/ a ‘60s Edge.
8:45 – 9:30 2005 Winner: Journey to Memphis BILL RHOADES & The Party Kings with its Hard-Driving Northwest Blues.
10:00 – Close Your favorite, ROSE CITY KINGS, the 2004 Winner of the Journey to Memphis Competition will close the Bite with its Crowd-Pleasing Boisterous Blues.
