TOP 25 on WECS BLUES RADIO
November 25, 2004
Rose City King's "Delta Hop" has made it to the Top 25 on Eastern Connecticut's WECS 90.1 Fm for the month of October.
RCK just received the news that "Delta Hop" broke to number 14 on the radio station's charts. "Delta Hop" has also received airplay on a sister Connecticut station, WHUS. "We were so pleased by the airplay when we received [the DJs'] e-mail commenting on the album. It's exciting to have our music embraced by these DJs." says Daniel Berkery.
"Rose City Kings are a breath of fresh air, here on the Right Coast," says Ramblin' Bert of WHUS and WECS with a chuckle over the friendly rivalry between the 2 coasts.
DJ Bert Rand hosts the Connecticut show, "Ramblin Bert", Tuesdays from 3 to 5 pm (ET), with internet listening at http://www.whus.org/. On Tuesday evenings, Al Cournoyer broadcasts "Rocking the Blues w/ Ramblin Bert" from 8 to 10 pm (ET).
