MEMPHIS SEND-OFF PARTY: Jan. 22nd!

November 07, 2004

Rose City Kings announced the Journey to Memphis Send-Off Party and Fund Raiser for January 22, 2005 at Hopper's. "The outpouring of support from our fans has been incredible. I have talked to so many who will be making the journey with us. It's going to be one BIG party." said Jeff "El Nino" Simonson. RCK loyalists (as the fans have been called) really wanted a fun way to support and wish the band the best of luck at the International Blues Challenge. "The fans asked for (a send-off party) and they're going to get the best entertainment we can provide," said lead singer and guitarist, Dan "Kingbee" Berkery. The party is also a fund raising event to help defray the travel costs of the band members. Rose City Kings encourages its fans to support the band in this major endeavor. RCK fans have always turned out for Hopper's, packing the dance floor from practically the first drum note until the last. "Some of RCK's most memorable shows have been at Hopper's this year. We expect the Send Off Party will just top that list," said drummer Roger E. Hopper's is located at 112th and Division. The Cover Charge will be $10.
